Megyn Kelly has responded. After days of personal attacks and criticism by Donald Trump, she finally decided to speak.
“I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism, so I’ll continue doing my job without fear or favor,” she said during her Fox News show, The Kelly File.
She did no specify Trump’s statements but she said, “This is a tough business and it’s time now to move forward.”
On Thursday, Kelly had questioned Trump (currently a GOP candidate) on Thursday. The topic was his history of derogatory remarks about females. He has known to have used words such as “slobs,” “fat pigs,” and “disgusting animals.”
The next day in an interview with CNN Trump said, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”
This attracted more controversy and he defended himself saying that “only a deviant would say” that he was referring to Kelly menstruating and being hormonal. Carly Fiorina and Hillary Clinton condemned his remarks.
